(No spoilers unless you haven’t seen season 4 of Game of Thrones)
I am SUPER excited for tonight’s premier of Season 5! A friend is VERY graciously allowing me to watch it at his house, so I shan’t be out of the loop.
To celebrate, here’s my favorite fight from last season, Brienne of Tarth vs. The Hound.
There’s a moment in this fight that is very, VERY important for me. Can you guess what it is?
Nope, it’s not Brienne biting off Clegane’s ear (OR spitting it out)
It’s not Brienne hitting him with a rock when they lose their blades and scrabble in the dirt
It’s not Brienne drilling him with punches until he falls off the cliff.
(Although those are ALL great moments!)

Brienne draws first.
Sure, they both loosen their swords when they’re talking shit and sizing each other up; But Brienne draws her weapon to engage in combat first. He gave her a couple warnings, and she knows EXACTLY who the Hound is, but she’s not backing down.
GO YOU MAGNIFICENT GIANTESS! YOU ARE MY HERO(INE)!
