This H.P. Lovecraft Insurance commercial is all you need to get through the day.
I love it. Great production value, great performances, and just plain wonderful for fans of our favorite weirdo New Englander. I fully acknowledge his problematic legacy, but like my elderly relatives, I take the bad along the good.
They have more at the Youtube page, but I didn’t watch them yet so I can’t speak as to their quality.
I was supposed to go out of town to a family reunion this weekend – instead I am laid up with the flu. A fever of 102 is nothing to laugh at. Happily we caught it very early, only about 7 hours in, and I got some Tamiflu to head it off. My fever’s broken and now I just feel generally crappy, with aches, pains, a headache, and something I can only describe as puffy-hot-face. But we will power through!
Have a great weekend!

“I’m sorry ma’am, you’re gonna have to describe it. Calling it indescribable doesn’t help.”
Lol! “Sir you’re breaking up, are you calling from another dimension?” 😀
Oh no, you poor thing. I hope you feel better soon 🙂
Thank you, I am getting a little better every day! 😀
That was pretty awesome. Last week, my family took a trip to California. Along the way, we stopped by the Monterey Aquarium. There was a big exhibit called Tentacles… which featured squids, octopuses, kuttlefish… and some artwork of Cthulhu. Ah, yes. My people.
NICE! That sounds awesome. Isn’t that the aquarium that had an octopus putting out the lights at night? Like he’d squirt a jet at the lights to short them out and there was this whole big thing – maybe I’m thinking of another aquarium. Either way I am jealous! 😀
I have heard the story about the Octopus getting up to shenanigans, I don’t know if it was in Monterey. I’m working on a write up of our travels, I just need to pressure my wife and daughter into giving me access to their photos…
Ah, it was in Coburg, Germany. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics/howaboutthat/3328480/Otto-the-octopus-wrecks-havoc.html
Thanks for the post! I can assure you our other work is of the same quality. You’ll love Elder Sign and The Necronomicon or your money back.
Why hello there! Thanks so much for stopping by and leaving a comment! Yes, I will be sure to check out your other work!
Sidenote – I love the joke about Shub-Niggrath; I’ve always had a problem with that name myself! 🙂
