At long last, Winston receives another visit from a friend he’s been waiting to talk to. While running an errand, Adelaide is directed to Woodborne house at dark. From there, she and Lord Victor Woodborne set out for answers… no matter where the path leads.
On the first day of the New Year, Winston makes a play for help from Jehan Plowright, Master of Plow, with middling results. Gordon makes a gamble that pays off, allowing him his much-needed in with Sligh Skinner. Neville has a devastating loss, but his best friend is there to catch him.
